Specialist in Endodontics

Shanon qualified from Guy\'s Dental Hospital in 1995. He undertook his specialist training in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute. In 2002 he became one of the first individuals in the United Kingdom to complete a Royal College of Surgeons accredited specialist training pathway in Endodontics.

As well as working in specialist practice, Shanon teaches in the Endodontic Postgraduate Unit at Guy\'s Hospital and is on the council of the British Endodontic Society. He has also recently co-authored a textbook \'The Principles of Endodontics\' (Oxford University Press) which is due out in 2005.
